Y'all know I talk about my hobbies all the time, but I feel like over the last year in particular, I've really, really, really taken... my social media consumption really seriously and i'm the first person to tell y'all and i know we've talked about it on the podcast before that i really feel like i actually have a true social media addiction and i don't think this is something that like nobody when they struggle with some kind of an addiction is like yeah i'm gonna become addicted to this thing today um I think naturally it was a byproduct of my lifestyle.

You know, I used to joke with family members because I'm the youngest of seven kids that I was born with an iPod like in my ear already.

I feel like I've always been like the most technologically inclined person in my family.

So I think ultimately the byproduct of my career style, you know, starting out in digital work in my early twenties, I was making content like lifestyle content.

And then now I do mainly spirituality content where I'm making like tarot cards i also do this podcast obviously and uh astrology based stuff but in all of that i feel like especially during my era when i was like streaming a lot too like i used to stream on twitch pretty routinely um i was just like always on like i was either always on discord or like back when skype was a thing i was like always on skype always talking to someone and or like gosh when i used to run a minecraft server that was even crazier like i was always on skype 24 7. uh, talking to people, helping put my server together.

And that was when I feel personally that like doom scrolling really became a thing because on TikTok, that was how it was kind of set up to be is this like endless scroll that didn't stop.

Like that was like, I don't even know if they knew they were making something so incredibly devious at the time.

But I feel like that to me for my own personal history of like the doom scroll and always being online.
