See, I was under the impression that they were.
I was under the impression at one point in my life that they were as well.
And then I tried on, I went to try on like a million bras one day and then discovered that they are not standard.
So desperately in need of new bras.
Probably haven't been like fitted for a proper bra since before I had my children.
And I've breastfed two children.
My boobs are a very, very different size and shape than they used to be.
I was saying to the girls, oh, it's just so hard.
It takes forever to get sized and to get like to try them all on.
Yada, yada.
It's such a big trip.
And then they were like, just measure yourself at home and order bras in your size.
And I was like, you say it as if that's a simple thing to do.
So anyway, I was like, that is actually a good plan.
I should just do that.
So I bought a bunch in with band size 32 and across this same brand, but just, I suppose, like a different line.
Some of them was the Ali line versus the Victoria line versus the whatever line.
But same brand.
Let me stress that it was the same brand.
32 size band was different sizes in all these different lines.
It was so frustrating.
But I thought 32 was the measurements, like the way they do men's jeans.
I thought 32... meant 32 inches.
Yeah, surely it does.
Apparently not, because I tried, the first one on, it actually fit quite nicely.
The second one I tried on, also a size 32, it was far too tight.
And then the third one I tried on, also size 32, it was far too loose.
What the hell? What brand is this? Name and shame.
Yeah.

So if anyone has some good recommendations on where one can buy a bra that is in fact...

No, how can we make clothing brands actually be true to size? Like, surely that should be a legal requirement for it to be of merchantable quality, that it is a 32, is a 32, and they're not allowed to produce things that aren't.

Something that is inches should be inches and centimeters.
It should just be straightforward.
