So mate, I wanted to talk a little bit about World Cup singles and I'll try and relate this back to business in a moment.

So World Cup singles, for those non-soccer, non-football people out there listening, Good luck.

Back in the school playground, World Cup singles was generally the person that wanted to play that wasn't necessarily the best got picked as goalie.

World Cup singles, you could have three people, you could have five people, you could have ten people.

But ultimately, you had, what, half an hour to try and play within your lunchtime.

And ultimately, what it was, the first person to score sat behind the goal because they were through to the next round.

Then it got down to two people and that was like a little bit like a final, but it was the last one, sorry, it was the last one standing.

So if the ball went in the back of the net and behind the net, which we didn't have a net at the time, it was just like literally jumpers for goalposts.

So we used to call this game, that World Cup singles, but we always used to call it headers and volleys.
