We have two beat reporters who are members of the media that have worked with Peter LaViolette in the past, and we'll get to them in just a minute.
First, want to say thanks to Josh Schaefer, who filled in for me a couple weeks ago in a conversation with the new head coach of the LA Kings, Peter LaViolette, alongside Zach Dooley.
as they got to know the new head coach a little bit better after he finished his first media availability here in LA.
We also had an episode with the GM of the LA Kings, Ken Holland, before that discussing his process and the outlook for the off season, as he gets set to make some pretty big changes to this team here over the summer and get things going for next season.
So we wanted to learn a little bit more about Peter LaViolette from some of the media that have covered him over the past couple seasons.
Vince has covered the New York Rangers for a long time and was there for both of LaViolette's seasons in New York, both The first season, which was a great start with him and the Rangers, and then a second one that didn't go as well.
So we'll hear from Vince about how that went and some of his takeaways from working with LaViolette.
Then Tarek El-Bashir joins us from Monumental Sports Network in D.C. with the Washington Capitals.
Again, another guy who's been a longtime beat reporter in the league, has covered the league as a whole, and has a really good sense of what it was like to work with Peter LaViolette during three seasons with him in D.C., as the head coach of the Washington Capitals.
