There is a battle in every heart to trust God. That his ways are good and his words are true. Especially when real life hits us below the belt and people or situations make us doubt him, and our enemies or The Enemy attack. So this is not an apologetic for the infallibility of God’s word, but what that truth feels like to swim in on ordinary days when our hearts see a thousand reasons to be afraid and doubt it. Because what God says and who he is are the same. We have to battle to believe and enjoy God and his trust that he and his words can be trusted. In all of life. Every day.
