Are we not then righteous before God by our own works? Answer.

From the morning watch until night, I have waited trustingly for the Lord.

Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord.

Lord, hear my voice.

Come on, come on, begin to pray.

Put Psalm 130 verse one.

Everybody begin to pray in the spirit.

Louder.

It's from Psalms, right? Yes,

Psalm 130.

I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits.

And it's funny because when you read the words of it, it almost seems that there's a desperation to the lyric.

It has the full... hebrew name of the lord in his own name no one else has that association you think in exodus the 23rd chapter when god says to israel is going to send an angel with him he says my name is in him he has power to forgive sin which otherwise only god can do And if you look up the root salach in the Hebrew Bible, you'll see salach, that it is used to forgive only with God.

That's why Psalm 130 says, "...with you is forgiveness." Only God has the power to forgive human sin.

And yet, in the Gospels, Yeshua forgives human sin.

Why? Because he is the Word made flesh.

So you could say maybe it's really at the end of Pesukei D'Zimra, technically.

Um, and then right after Yishtabach, there is a, there's a custom to say, a start, uh, that to say beginning Rosh Hashanah and all the way through the 10 days from Rosh Ha- from the beginning of Rosh Hashanah to Yom Kippur, is to say, well, we have Psalm 130, and, um, and it's, it's, uh, it's, it's a psalm that we say, um, often.

It's als- it's like the go-to for if we're praying for someone who's sick or praying for the safety of the soldiers in Israel.
