In the second Niftav Melyau, in Chelek Yimov, the third volume of Niftav Melyau, Rav Deslas starts describing his own personal moving to Eretz Israel and starting to learning and teaching Torah in Eretz Israel.

And he writes there, it's in Chelek Yimov, page 194.

And he writes there that he experienced that when he came to Israel, something that he wouldn't have expected to happen.

He'd always learned Musa.

He'd learned Musa in Kelm.

He'd learned Musa in England.

He said, but when he started learning Musa in Eretz Israel, He writes that the arousing of his heart, the connection to the Musa that he felt, and the effect that Torah had on him, he felt affected him in a deeper way than he'd ever experienced before.

And he says that not only the Musa, but even the regular learning of his learning of Torah, he felt a special siyat of the Shema.

And he was trying to understand where did it come from.

And he said, okay, I know the sources.

I know what Chazal say in the Sifri, where they say, And he said, I know what the Gemara says in Baba Basra.

where it says that I know those sources, but I didn't know what they meant.

And he writes that when he came to Eretz Yisrael, he understood what he meant.

Eretz Yisrael is the land of Hashem.

And being the land of Hashem, there's a special siyat of Ishmael.

It's almost as if HaKadosh Baruch Hu was with you and he's guiding you and he's helping you.

So your mind is able to comprehend and understand a certain level.

And maybe Eretz Yisrael can comprehend and understand the same level.

There's a deeper connection to HaKadosh Baruch Hu that comes when you're in Eretz Yisrael.

It makes you wiser.

Now, this writes about himself that he found it.

And I've heard stories of many Gadolim on different sides of the spectrum.

On the one hand of Nachman of Breslov, on the other hand, the Chazonish, very different worldviews.

Both of them write that the Torah that they wrote in Eretz Yisrael reached a deeper level of depth to the point where they regarded their Torah of Eretz Yisrael to be their real Torah and the Torah they'd previously learned and taught to be a secondary Torah.

based on the Torah they'd learned after they'd made their way to Eretz Yisrael.
