Believe for God's Glory In Your Life, Show Me Your Glory

Hello, everyone.

Welcome to our broadcast today.

I trust you're having a wonderful day.

And I want to encourage you to give me your undivided attention for a few moments here, because I've got some exciting things to share with you from the Word of God.

I believe, praise God, that God is wanting to do some things in your life that you have never experienced before.

And You know, at the beginning of this year, and many of you know this because you've been in my services or you've received our magazine, and you know that at the beginning of the year, I begin to teach everywhere all over the world on this theme, Lord, show me your glory.

That's what we're going to be dealing with today and for the next several weeks.

So I want to encourage you once again, pay very close attention because this could change your life in a very, very powerful way.

I want to encourage you once again, if you have opportunity to take notes, follow along with me in your Bible, underline the scriptures, highlight them, whatever it is you do in your Bible so that every time you pass by those scriptures, they'll jump out at you as a reminder, praise God, that God wants to show you his glory.

Now, what is that all about? Well, When God says he wants to show you his glory, what he's talking about, he wants to manifest his presence, his power, and his goodness.

I want you to write that down if you're taking notes.

The glory of God is simply a manifestation of the presence of God, the power of God, and the goodness of God.

NOW, LET'S GO FIRST OF ALL TO THE BOOK OF EXODUS, CHAPTER 33, WHERE MOSES MAKES THIS REQUEST OF THE LORD.

IT SAYS IN EXODUS CHAPTER 33 AND VERSE 18, AND HE SAID, I BESEECH THEE, SHOW ME YOUR GLORY.

NOW, I WANT YOU TO UNDERSTAND RIGHT HERE AT THE BEGINNING THAT WHEN MOSES SAID, LORD, SHOW ME YOUR GLORY, IT'S NOT BECAUSE HE HAD NEVER EXPERIENCED THE GLORY OF GOD BEFORE.

IT WAS BECAUSE HE HAD.

Not only had he experienced it before, he experienced it many times before.

In fact, the burning bush experience was a manifestation of the glory of God.

Leading the children of Israel out of Egypt was a manifestation of the glory of God.

Crossing the Red Sea was a manifestation of the glory of God.

So Moses realizes that without manifestations of God's glory, it would be impossible for him to fulfill the assignment that God had given him.

That impossible-looking task could not be accomplished.

I'll say it again.

It could not be accomplished if Moses was not dependent upon the glory of God, presence of God, power of God, and goodness of God.

So once again, when he says, I beseech thee, show me your glory, it's because he knew that it would take the glory of God to fulfill the great assignment that God had placed on his life.
