S11 Ep29: Is Tough Love Needed

Tank's Sleep Pride is a segment that we do where we talk about our sons.

We have four gorgeous sons.

I mean, I don't know why God wanted us to be the luckiest people in the world, 'cause we do have four amazing boys.

Um, Amar, who's seven, Kai and Sy, who are 11, and Marcus, who is 16, about to be 17 in, um, two weeks.

My Tank's Sleep Pride story has to do with my youngest, Amar.

I had the opportunity to take him to a screening for Paw P- Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie.

Um, due to my own i- undiagnosed n- neurodivergency and not doing what I was supposed to do, took him a day early.

Took him and Aiden a day early.

[laughs] I was like, well, this was a dress rehearsal.

[laughs]

Went all the way down to Paramount, Paramount Studios.

Was dressed, looked really pretty, put on makeup, and, and ain't nobody there, mkay? I was like, "God, dog." I said, "Okay, boys.

Well, unfortunately I came here the wrong day, but let's go get ice cream." Aiden was like, "Menchie's is pretty good.

My Menchie's is great."

[laughs]

He was like, "But you know what? We should try a different place." And I said, "Okay." So I'm trying to find ice cream.

I realized there's a Ben & Jerry's in the Sherman Oaks Mall.

Mm.

So we go to the Sherman Oaks Mall and, you know, I let them get the, the top of the line ice cream.

You want something on top of your ice cream-

Yeah

... you get it.

You don't even gotta get a regular cone.

You want the, I mean, a regular cup.

I'm gonna let you get the cone.
