But when his twin brother died, his grieving mother requested he come stay with her in Oregon.
He tried to stay clean, but living in such close proximity to another addict proved all too difficult, so he relapsed.
After being arrested and convicted for illegal firearm possession, he served a sentence of 45 days and then was released into drug treatment.

After the birth of her daughter, she left that relationship because her partner was brutally physically abusive, allegedly beating her while she was pregnant.
