Derrick McClintockGuestLonnieHostMichaelHostWell, I think, you know, if I may, I mean, they probably get to know you and think, man, this guy, you know, he's going through something similar, you know, that I'm going through now.
And so they look up to you in that way.
And, you know, I wanted to read a couple of verses that's really helped me lately.
And, yeah.
You know, the first one is James chapter one and it's verses two through four.
And I'm sure you'll recognize it, but it's canon all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds for, you know, that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.
Right.
So that's I, you know.
I get to this point sometimes and it's like, I'm like you, it's just like, I can't, I can't do this under my own power.
I'm powerless in the face of this, whatever circumstance it is.
And I need, I need help.
And whatever it is that you're going through, just be thankful for
it.
That
seems like such an odd thing to say, like no matter how terrible of a situation you're going through, be thankful.
Yeah.
I pray

Like, hey, Lord, thank you for the pain and suffering that I've endured.

Thank you for giving me the strength to go through that to make me who I am now.
