In fact, they had a press conference, Austin and Travis County officials yesterday, and one of the officials there, I can't remember who he was with, but he said that Conditions right now here in Central Texas are very similar to what they were 15 years ago when we had that fire in Steiner Ranch and Bastrop and Spicewood.

A bunch of homes burned up too.

So you need to be careful out there.

But one small mistake can have devastating consequences.

week will mark 15 years since Central Texas dealt with some devastating wildfires in Steiner Ranch and Spicewood and in Bastrop.

Austin ranks fifth in the nation for wildfire risk, and it's the only city at the top five that's not in California.

Speaking of Spicewood Vineyards, which is owned by Ron Yates, they opened a new winery tasting room in High, Texas, establishing a new destination on Highway 290 right there in the heart of the Texas Hill Country wine region.

The new 8000 square foot tasting room sits on a beautiful 17 acre property.

So we're living in the Spicewood/Briarcliff area, which has been great.

Kinda just settling in there, unpacking, just being consistently defeated by the overwhelmingly large pile of boxes that you wish you could just turn your bl- uh, a blind eye to.

And on top of that, we started school.

So like Steven said, I'm the head of school at Spicewood Christian Academy.

Um, we rent a space at One Chapel out there on 71.

Last year, we ended school with about 38, 39 kids, and we started school with 75.
