Packers Nation, we started off 0-1 in preseason.

Do with that what you will.

Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy rolled in, kind of coaching their backups versus our backups.

Jordan Love got a little bit of action.

Pack ended up losing significantly, but it was the first preseason game.

So I think as long as you don't have any significant injuries, that's the main thing.

A huge storyline was Trey Smack taking care of business.

It seems that since he's gotten off social media, things have quieted down there, which is good.

No news is good news when it comes to the kicking department.

But the big juicy story that everyone's kind of jumping on, red meat, there's actually two of them.

It's the continued bullying of Keyshawn Nixon, which he's handling it as an extreme professional.

I got to give him credit for the grace he's showing on Just a bunch of hostile reporters, frankly, and, you know, people choosing to rag on him.

But they're also beginning to drag on Aaron Banks, Alex.

The $77 million guard that Goode extended, kicking, you know, reworked his deal, kicked his can down the road.

So apparently this guy is not even slated to start.

Apparently the Packers two mid-round draft picks, I think Jacob Monk and then the guy from this year, I forget his name, but the mid-round pick from Duke, I believe he was from, or Kentucky.

He's got a really distinct name.

I'm blanking on it.

But long story short is Aaron Banks has been a disaster.

And people were looking at the deal the way it was structured.

They're saying, okay, awful signing.

No one was really saying that because they didn't want to take any heat for it.

Only like Packers was saying that.

Well, it was pretty decent out after year one.

But Goode having restructured it the way he did, kicking the can down the way he did.
