Oh, OK. OK.
And I think that definitely soured people or people going into it like, I'm not going to like this.
And it... doesn't have the feel of an alien movie i think a lot of that's like color palette
really because it ripped the ending pretty much scene by scene line by line of the original
what's so interesting is when we were doing Alien Covenant and you're like, oh, I think this feels like the most horror-y one.
And I was like, well, what about Romulus? And you were like, oh yeah, Romulus definitely is that.
I actually felt more suspense and thriller type of feelings during Covenant than this movie.
This movie, I feel like, doesn't hide the fact that like, hey, this is where you're going to be scared.
This is where everyone's going to die.
Everything is kind of formulaic in that way, where I felt like genuine surprise that someone was going to die this certain way in Covenant way more than Romulus.
I mean, Covenant's a better movie.
I will say that off the bat, even with the problems I had with the ending.
But so when I saw this in theaters, I had a horrible theater experience.
I went with a couple of friends who wanted to go And at that point I had seen, I don't know how many aliens I'd seen.
I'd have to look back at our episode guide, get into the theater.
The movie starts and there's just a light on a fairly bright light in the middle of it.
And I was like, what the fuck is this? So I go out and I was like, Hey, there's just a light that's got left on.
Can someone come, you know, can someone turn this off? They come in.
And this is a theater that I've gone to for 20 years.
And I really liked it.
Do you want to shout them out?
Oh, OK. OK.
