Rain Carradine

And that's what made them scary, too.

Whereas, like, Romulus, you have a couple scenes where they're just, like, slowly walking up on Rain and Andy, and you're just, like...

I feel like you're seeing the Xeno for, like, way too long.

So, for...

I also feel like I know that people in the industry who work on Alien listen to this show, but I don't know if they actually listen in terms of character.

And when you give character space and time and you keep them going from film to film, but you just don't do it for the sake of doing it, you write them well.

So when people are about to approach the next one, people are like, I can't wait to see what happens to Rain or whoever.

that they're there, that they're there for these characters.

The particularly tough physical guy, I can't think of the word for that, the brute, really doesn't fit into any of those, which that's cool.

And Rain is agentic, And is, you know, able to enact violence, but is not, also has, can be a caring, has care and, you know, some sensitivity.

So she's not just a woman slotted into what would be a bro-man hero role.

you know, protagonist, oh, but we're going to be PC.

The reason she gave birth to that thing is because she injected herself with the vial.

Because Andy, when she was really sick, Andy was like, give her this.

And then Rain's like, no, no, no, that seems too sketchy.

But then she did it to herself.

Layers, man.

Rain's full of layers.

Rain looks over and is disappointed in her because apparently she can understand Mandarin too.

Yeah, it's the future.

Everyone knows Chinese at that point.

So the movie also deals with three brother-sister relationships.

So we talked about Bjorn and Navarro, Tyler and Kay.

And then the main one is Rain and Andy.
