In this interview with Ilkka Homanen from Business Finland, we learn how government and business in Finland are cooperating to build a robust hydrogen economy.
So why don't you tell us a little bit about just the general clean energy resources in Finland?
Currently in our energy mix, we have sort of base coming from nuclear still, but we are more and more leaning towards other renewable sources, wind energy, solar energy.
You could even say that the bold target 10% of the European Union is clean hydrogen by 2030.
So we can really utilize this renewable energy to split the water into a clean hydrogen and derivatives.
And of course, we are getting then rid of the remainder of the sort of not fully clean energy but that's a little little little portion at the moment
Ilkka, do you want to talk a little bit about the different regions of Finland that have unique resources?
So I would like to start sort of again focusing on this energy transition and how we work together in different regions.
