Steve Caplin explains how difficult it will be to flag down the new self-driving taxis on London streets. However, you can now get a mobile TV that you can summon. Which? managed to get a fake listing…
Simon RoseHostSo what are we going to talk about? Well, today, the first self-driving taxis take to the streets of London.
If you can get one, I've only got 15 cars out of the 100,000 taxis currently operating in London.
And apparently when you get into it, the first thing the driver tells you is he's not going to speak.
But apparently he can take control if the passenger asks him to, just in case they get panicked by the idea of this car.
But the trouble is they're not really driverless because they've got someone sitting in the driver's seat.
And it'll be certainly a few years before they get rid of the driver in the driving seat.
It is, it
