It takes many talented people to make an organization like United Way of King County effectively serve and advocate for our neighbors.
Among those who help make us one of the area's most resourceful and impactful nonprofits are our engagement coordinators.
They play an important role in helping us strengthen relationships with our workplace partners, support campaigns and events, and connect more people to United Way's work throughout King County.
Engagement coordinators work closely with United Way's institutional philanthropy teams by managing a portfolio of workplace giving accounts, facilitating corporate volunteer opportunities, and ensuring partners receive exceptional customer service.
Engagement coordinators travel throughout King County to support community activities such as workplace campaign kickoffs, volunteer projects, kit builds, and donor engagement events.
They also utilize our donor management platform to document partner interactions, maintain account records, and monitor engagement activity.
This week's episode of Hourglass not only spotlights our engagement coordinator team, but one member in particular, Brenda Lynn Linton, who has served in the role for 26 years.
Often when we at United Way encourage people to support our work, we get asked the question, why United Way? Brindalyn embodies the answer.
