James Huberty woke up and took his wife and two young daughters to the zoo, followed by lunch at McDonald's.

That day, a shooter would go to the San Ysidro McDonald's and murder 21 innocent people, many of which were children.
The scene was one of absolute confusion.
Shots were ringing out.
The nightmare was unfolding.
These images are more of war than of a small fast food restaurant in San Ysidro, yet it was a local man dressed in battle fatigues who declared, "I have killed a thousand.
I'm gonna kill a thousand more."

After returning from the zoo and having lunch with his family, James Huberty would pack up hundreds of bullets, multiple guns, and then tell his wife, "I'm going hunting," hunting for humans.
He entered the facility heavily armed, immediately started shooting everybody.
The customers, uh, that were inside the, uh, restaurant, uh, had absolutely no chance to escape.
