Welcome back to the podcast, everyone.
As you know, we're in our summer series, but today we are kicking off a miniseries about the conferences and conventions for homeschoolers in the Southeastern region that one or both of us has been to.
Yeah.
And we're gonna start it off this week with the Southeast Homeschool Expo.
And I feel like this one is near and dear to our hearts because it was my first homeschool conference.
Was it yours?
It was not my first.
Technically, no.
Okay.
Technically, I had been to a Wild + Free conference, but that is-
Okay
...
so different.
Sure.
It has a, and stay tuned, that one's coming up in a couple weeks, but it, it's a, it's just, like, such its own flavor.
Yeah.
Southeast Homeschool Expo was my first, like, homeschool convention where there's an exhibit hall with curriculum for sale and workshops.
So yes and no.
Yeah.
Well, this was my first one, but I went to it the summer after my daughter was in kindergarten, and that kindergarten year was hard for us.
We were homeschooling in a camper, and I didn't know what I was doing.
And I, I always say I feel like the Southeast Homeschool Expo saved our homeschool because it gave me the confidence that I needed, and it showed me how many resources are out there.
So I have gone three, four years.
What did we determine? Was last year our third or fourth year?
Last year was our third year.
