But it's not an actual program and it doesn't come with its own professional learning.

It is not as effective as the actual programs like Monster Phonics, Jolly Phonics, Read Writing.

They are all fully accredited, professional learning supported programs.

And, you know, anything that's free just isn't as good in some cases.

And these are the recommendations that we're going to give to Welsh Government.

In this report, it listed 51 resources, 51 literacy resources that they found were being used across Wales.

And it included things like ReadWriteInk, Jolly Phonics, but also things like Big Cat Books, IDL Literacy.

So there was a real range of resources that were listed, 51 resources.

Decodable texts have become a staple in many early literacy classrooms, but are we getting everything we can out of them? I'm joined by Dr.

And for the past three years, and this coming year will be my fourth year, I've been working with schools in the city, helping them transition to structured literacy.

It doesn't require a new program, it doesn't require another block in your schedule, and you definitely don't need to create anything elaborate.

You just need to pay a little more attention to the words that you're already teaching.
