🚨 BREAKING MARINERS NEWS 🚨The Seattle Mariners have reportedly called up top prospect Laz Montes, one of the most powerful hitters in all of Minor League Baseball. After a frustrating sweep by the…
Laz Montez per Francis Romero, breaking Laz Montez or Lazaro Montez has been called up to the MLB by the Seattle Mariners.
Uh, Not sure.
I don't know Francis Romero as well as I know some of the other ones that are dropping that one, but that is news.
And if that is true, then we are dealing with some really cool stuff.
If anything, this September will be fun to watch because I would imagine at some point you might see some other young guys.
You might see a Michael Arroyo get his due.
You might see Cole Emerson come back up, and maybe there's some chemistry being built, especially if they're out of it.
you know, in the next 15 days, if they're for sure out of it, why not? Uh, unless it's just the absolute wrong thing.
If he's, you know, if he's continuing his woes down in AAA, then yeah, you know, you just kind of move on and take what you can.
Um, And, yeah, it just struck me.
Cole Emerson's injured.
So that's not going to happen.
So Laz Montez gets the call.
That is the news.
That is what we're talking about.
We got Kate Anderson that just hit the ground running, who just had his second outing, and that one was actually a good outing, and we couldn't get the W for him.
Man, how do we move forward? So, yeah, everyone's talking about Laz Montez's strikeout.
stuff uh here's his i call it lazlytics so here's the analytics broken down on las montes um yeah shout out to uh all the people that are that are running this i think it was thomas nestico that put this out yeah his strikeout is is it's noticeably high uh or on this chart it's low but he has a high strikeout rate it's up to 30 31 percent But, man, can this guy hit 38 home runs on the year? I think I saw another tweet out there that's had something about him having the most home runs in minor league baseball since, I don't know, another name that hasn't played in so long.
So, yeah, Laz Montez, you've got to be fired up for this guy.
Everyone is putting the player comps on Jordan Alvarez, and they couldn't be any more correct.
I actually think there's one piece of last Montez's game that nobody really talks about.
You know, ever since you want assessment is we don't see too many strong arms in the outfield.
You just don't see it too often.
Even like Julio has a pretty good arm.
but against some of the greats, you know, it's still, it's pretty good.
