When I was 16, well, before even I was 16, I started studying French and I absolutely adored learning languages.
And so when I was 16, my mom encouraged me to go do a study abroad program for a summer.
And so I came to Toulouse, which is a beautiful town in the South of France, down here on the Southwest of France.
It was I mean, now I can say it was life changing, although it was hard to see the future back then.
But when I got there and got with the family that really didn't speak much English, I just absolutely soared with language.
I think actually just looking at myself, communication has always been my why, I guess, of why I do what I do, why I do what I do in medicine, why I do what I do with real estate.
It makes sense that communicating in another language is also a fascination of mine.
So I went to university with the hope of doing something very international.
I went to a college that had a lot of international programs and that supported that, but I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my life.
