For this episode Dan, Michael and Helena are joined by Ian Harries from The Podcast Nobody Asked For (@thepodcastnobodyaskedfor) to look back at a movie Ian loved but wasn't sure if he'd imagined…
Speaking of hitting you hard, what film have you bought to us today?
can begin by saying I've never seen or heard of this.
No,
me neither.
This was new to me.
How did you hear about this film?
was going to say, problems just in general.
Yeah, this is why.
Well, I
mean, I used, yeah, like, a lot of problems, but, so, I was flicking through channels as a, if this was 97, like, probably would have been like 2003, 2004, back when it, like flipping through channels, then on like channel four or channel five at like half 11 midnight, suddenly this film was there.
Because when you mention, oh, have you seen that kangaroo ninja movie? Everyone goes, do you mean turtles? It's like, no, no, they're kangaroos.
And yeah, it got to the point where I thought I'd imagined it until Google really took off.
