And thankfully, you know, unlike recent weeks, we have something sort of positive to discuss on the men's side of things.

Collie, I might start with yourself and I might throw you off, not throw you off, throw you a compliment.

comment from Chris Byrne and thank God for the three points but are we too nice we need to be more aggressive so as well as the three points as well as good as the three points were how do you feel about the manner in which we got them I think we

we made hard work of it and first of all I'm delighted with the result it feels like an eternity since we've won a match and Especially for me, because I was trying to think back to the last match.

I really didn't enjoy the game at all, to be quite honest, until... very very end and it was wonderful to to those those scenes the emotions um it did feel like the tide is hopefully turning i hope it's a sliding doors moment in our season i hope it's all the the cliches of that you can imagine in football and that we just kick on from here now and make the most of it and and we get ourselves well away from that relegation zone and we can put that talk to bed once and for all but look we wait and see um i don't have a lot of faith to be quite honest and um a lot of people talking about a positive performance I didn't see that personally maybe you lads saw it as slightly different to me I'm sure we'll get into it as we talk more about it but my initial reaction is it was a poor performance we got very lucky and yeah I still think we're soft we'll talk but we'll discuss the two goals that we conceded a little bit and I'll try and explain as to why I don't think we're aggressive enough

Nathan, I know we got another comment in from Freddie Potts, and he said, how well does the midfield control games? JR needs to decide quickly what he wants for 2027.

I suppose the second half of the question might be something we come back to later, but in terms of that first half of the question, and what Collie was saying, being too soft, how well does the midfield control games, you know, What are your thoughts on
that? We didn't put a dominant stance within the game at all in the midfield.
We gave away possession too many times.
Within the space of a few passes, they were on the break.
Within the first half, they could have really hurt us.
It was an all-around poor performance within the midfield.
In regards to what Freddie is talking there, in regards to next year... jr you know i think he knows now especially with handing out you know contracts and such like that lads certainly lads not being offered certain ones i still think he's still trying to find out who he wants to keep he probably has you know questions about some lads will it keep him will he not he's just trying to find them out and he did say that in one of his previous interviews that this is the time where you find people out, but we shouldn't be in this position to be found out.
I defended the questions when we were asked in previous episodes in regards to, can we be in this position of the relegation playoff? I just brushed it aside because never in a million miles would I have thought it.
Then this position that we find ourselves in, and we are very lucky to come away with three points up in Dundalk.
In reality, this is a game where we should be going up there and saying, we're going to stick straight to them.

The Dundalk team that had been in very indifferent form themselves and had kind of probably been a bit fortunate to still be in fourth place heading into the game, considering how wobbly they were.
