John Caulfield's not gonna be managing in the league in 10 years time.

Like, Killian Tallagh couldn't get a sniff.

And that's a very good, that's a very good player at Athlone Town.

And now he's kind of like, yeah.

There's still different styles, particularly in League of Ireland.

There's such varying styles of play, you know, a John Caulfield versus Steven Bradley type of thing.

So yeah, I just, uh, from a striker's point of view, as you said, if I was in the team and s- a winger's not putting the ball in the box, you're getting frustrated, 'cause I think you're actually doing the defender's job for him.

You're letting him set himself, get himself in position.

A goal conceded in injury time in the first half.

As a manager yourself, that must be John Caulfield's worst nightmare because it's probably that one period of the game where you don't want your players to switch off and that's pretty much how he summed it up after Friday's performance.

Yeah, and it was really, there wasn't nothing in the game at all at that stage as well.

And it is very disappointing because it changes your whole halftime team talk and especially in a tough place like Derry to go I said the crowd with the season Derry have had, it's been slightly improving now, but when they're having ups and downs, a crowd can easily just switch off on the home team then when they're going at halftime in the game that they're hoping to win.

They just couldn't get the equaliser in the second half.

How difficult is it when you're playing a competitive and everybody wants competitive games but like even a point would have been priceless based on the way the league table is going and while Galway United were comfortable at times and created a few scoring chances like compared to their form recently I suppose Stephen Walsh had one attempt at a bicycle kick but it was kind of very hard to see where Galway United's goal was going to come on Friday night.

yeah it is and especially in these games they are they're such fine margins I said it might take a bit of magic from Stephen Walsh we saw last week and stuff like that or a set piece and stuff like that but you have to be compact and you have to be defending well and I said they are such fine margins you have to take your chances when they come I said I don't I say don't worry I watch a lot of that league running game I don't worry too much about Galway to be honest when you look at the league table even that ninth place I generally say because they have John Caulfield in charge that's enough to get Galway away from that ninth place And Shelburne will come into AMA DC this Friday night.

I don't think they're going to fancy that at all.

But aside from that, there's a write-up for every single character and stuff.

It goes through all the details and things, and it is a just – I love the tangible aspect of having a collector guide in front of my hands, even if I don't – I've got maybe five of these figures total, mainly thanks to John Caulfield and things.

But I just love having these sort of books and a snapshot in time of what has become, because we've followed this – you know, this toy line from start, you know, and it's kind of, even I was surprised how many damn figures there are.

Like, I was like, wow, man, this is just insane.

It was always going to be a difficult game there, such a dogged side.

Look, to be honest, if somebody had ever made... 1-0 before the match I will take your hand off because I mean playing a John Caulfield team is never a good watch you're not a fan it's not like he's like you know I'm not a fan of that style of football but I get that he has to play it because he doesn't have Derry money or Rovers money or Shelburne money or Bowes money to go and buy quality technical players he has to make the best of what he has and those are good honest pros yeah Big team.

Big, big team.

Well, I was going to say,
