And when you start trying to copy the trends or the ways that other people are doing things and you see that it's not working...

It's like drawing something, submitting it to the art teacher, and every time the art teacher is like, well, look at Sally's drawing.

I was in this position just a couple years ago where I couldn't take it anymore.

I really felt like I was giving so much and constantly trying to tailor everything to trends.

Quite honestly, it took attention away from things that would grow my business in the long term.


You know, there's a huge trust recession right now online where people just don't believe anyone anymore.

How can you create something that, one, lets you have your creativity, two, lasts longer than a couple hours, and three, really reaches people in a way that connects deeper.

I think it's the most important thing for an online business owner to have online business growth and the thing that so many of us overlook.

Even when we're doing it, let's say you have the podcast, you have the blog, you have the sub stack.

Even when we're doing it, or YouTube, we're not really putting strategy behind it half the time.
