When did loyalty become more important than accountability? Because if you've ever watched the news, been through a divorce, worked in healthcare, been part of a church, worked in corporate America, simply lived long enough, you've probably noticed something.

When someone finally speaks up about being hurt, people don't always ask, what happened? Instead, they ask, why are you talking about it? You should have kept that private.

Nobody is perfect, but accountability has never required perfection it requires honesty somewhere along the way many of us have confused loyalty with silence we started believing protecting someone's reputation was more loving than protecting the people they harmed and that is so backwards because healthy love doesn't protect harmful behavior Healthy love protects people.
