I hadn't been for 13 years.

Yeah, because in a way, obviously it's cooler to go to an award ceremony if you've actually been nominated for something or if you work on a project that's being celebrated.

So that proportion of people probably takes up about 50% of the room, and then the other 50% [laughs] are actually just there to wear a nice dress-

... and get their red carpet moment with a full face of makeup and hair, like, sculpted with a lot of hairspray.

I was-

I felt, like, slightly like a spare part.

Anyway, I arrived on my own.

I'd had ...

I, I think I was still slightly struggling, um, with my hormones, having a bit of a sort of hormone crash post the retrieval.

Because when I was at home getting ready with lovely Crystal, who does my makeup quite regularly, the sort of process was happening, and then about 15 minutes before I had to leave, I looked in the mirror and I was like, "I don't recognize myself." And I felt, like, quite panicky actually.

And I, I kinda thought, "What am I doing?" Like, how ...

This is not how I should be spending my Sunday.

You, you'd taken Leo out to go and do something cool, which was very kind of you to give me a bit of space to get ready and do the whole glam thing.
