Berlin Marathon Recap (Live from the Pool with Hannah Kait!)

But Hannah, let's talk about Berlin and the marathon.

And why are we here in Berlin? It's my fault.

I enter lotteries for all the majors.

And I've started to ask Haley to join if they happen.

Last year, we obviously did the New York City Marathon together.

And then I sent her the link and said, hey, do you want to do this one with me? And everyone except for Haley's friend, Royce, ignored our entry and then royce and i got in and so that included me i also ignored everyone my answer was no i

do not want to run the berlin marathon

it is a cool thing about berlin though it's the only world major that allows like you to register as a group so if one person of that three people get in anyone can get in and so i don't know if i won the lottery of race won the lottery But we won the

lottery.

You two are the two luckiest lottery people.

If you ever want to enter a lottery, enter with either Hannah or Royce Chang, who actually got into Tokyo.

The only person I've ever known to get into the Tokyo Marathon lottery this same year.

But you've gone into New York twice.

And Berlin once.

Once.

Only Berlin once.

Okay.

So definitely have some marathon entry luck there.

But so you two entered, got in.

How did I end up here?

Basically, it is what Haley said on a couple of podcasts where I just messaged her at the right time, like right as she was having some sort of like a deficit associated with racing, I guess.

And she was like, yeah.

maybe I will do that one and then I contacted a couple of marathon travel companies we are here with marathon adventurer so highly recommend them but at the same time I convinced her that day and our mom is actually doing sound for us right now so we are all three churro women here

yeah so I know if you catch me on on the right day I could end up working for you I could end up Going to a marathon race with you? I will say no 90% of the time, but man, those days that I have the low confidence or something, I say yes, and then...

I guess once I say yes, I stick to it.
