So we're going to start by learning a little about the context of that hub and start by asking Laura.

All learning hubs, when they apply, have a big idea or key aims.

Can you tell us about yours, please? So when

we come to start to put together our application, there were two priority areas for us as a team.

One was the transition between year six and year seven.

And the other was around the geographical locations of our school.

I'm not sure how familiar you are with Cumbria, but there are coastal areas.

You've got lots of lakes, lots of mountains, some urban areas.

But geographically, we've got a lot of isolated schools.

And because of that location, the sizing of the schools are often quite small and in rural locations.

So we wanted to bring together working with those rurally isolated schools and to support the transition for our predominantly year six pupils.

But we actually decided in the funding to focus on the year five pupils.

So they got a bit of a headway into the transition years because, as we know, we do lots of transition work, successful transition work in year six.

But we wanted to build on that and lay those foundations in year five.

So the premise was working with some identified rurally isolated schools.

and focus on transition but starting in year five.
