Arisika Razak, MPH, is the former Chair of the Women’s Spirituality Program at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. She currently serves as a core teacher at the East Bay Meditation Center in Oakland, CA, and offers workshops, classes and retreats nationally and in the Bay Area. A self-defined healer, ritualist, and movement facilitator, Arisika has led numerous healing and empowerment rituals, nationally and internationally for over forty years, focusing on women's health and healing, personal and social liberation, and healing our relationship with the earth. She has contributed to many books, publications and online and in-person conferences on the subjects of African wisdom traditions, Buddhism and womanism, and embodied spiritual traditions.
