But at the local level, uh, I, I imagine there's some pretty significant differences, and just doing a little bit of reading up, it, it seems that perhaps, um, kind of the party system is more prominent at the local level in the UK than it is in the US.
Did, did you find that to be the case? Do you run affiliated with, uh, for example, I think you're a member of the Labor Party.

So we, we, we've got quite a, what's getting even more complex local government, um, uh, sort of set up in the UK, 'cause we're currently going through some changes.

But we've got sort of between two and three different tiers depending really where you are.

And then above that you've got the district or, um, uh, uh, um, borough councils.

Above those, county councils covering, uh, uh, the, the 20-odd counties in, in England.

And then we've got combined authorities or unitary authorities trying to do all of it at once.
