**What Makes Chichi Okpara with Impact Bridge Consulting LLC a Good Neighbor?** Hiring pressure can make smart leaders do rushed things. When the work piles up, it feels safer to post a job than to…
So before we dive deeper here, what type of results have you seen since you started ImpactBridge?
I think the biggest results that we've been able to support some of our great stage clients with have been helping them make progress.
Most recently, we had a founder that was wanting to bring someone in at a different level.
I can't go into too much detail because it's kind of an identifier for the client, but ultimately wanted to bring someone in at a higher level.
But after deep diving into what the true outcomes were required and the task and the work that was required for said role, the founder determined that in partnership with us, that maybe that wasn't the right role to bring in.
So helping them get clear on their initial belief that they needed to bring in a C-suite employee for a role that was really a specialist.
You know, it saves our founder from making that wrong hire at the wrong time and at the wrong stage.
But it also... saves the person that's going to step into this role and it's not scoped accordingly.
And who knows what that could have looked like a little bit later down the line as it related to their job.
Now, you know, if we get into your role as a consultant a little bit more here, what other misconceptions do you typically face when it comes to helping businesses or organizations grow?
And so we have had the opportunity to bust the myth around the belief that hiring a person will solve the problem within an organization.
When you don't have clear expectations, there's internally, like I showed earlier, bad processes, maybe a manager who hasn't defined success or a manager that's never been developed to be a manager.
We believe that workforce strategy starts with understanding the business, understanding what the business is trying to accomplish, what work needs to happen.
