move over clásico regio this is the real clásico nacional de mexico a lot of people have been saying soccer's moved from the center of mexico to the north of mexico to monterrey where tigres and monterrey have been over the past decade or so doing really well more tigres than anybody else monterrey gets on the champions league level of it but soccer is definitely in mexico city And Guadalajara, the central parts of Mexico with Cruz Azul winning everything.

America being really good in the past half a decade.

And Chivas making their comeback now to the limelight of the footy game in Mexico.

But we got an amazing match this weekend.

One of the best Clásicos in a while, in my opinion.

Maybe the one where two Clásicos ago where La Hormiga scored the 2-1 to beat América en el Azul.

That one...

Maybe he's up there.

I'm trying to be as unbiased as I can here.

But we got a 2-2 tie here.

A lot of fireworks, a lot of things to talk about, folks.

It is a tale of two halves in this match.

Chivas killing it in the first half.

They honestly could have scored three to four goals in that first half.

They probably should have if they wanted to put this America away.

And then America could have scored three or four goals in that second half when they had Chivas on the ropes.

They had Chivas fumbling defensively, not knowing kind of what to do.

Milito being on the bench, being like, what the hell is going on? Not really being able to piece things together.

So the first half, we said Chivas could have scored a bunch.

Chivas, in my opinion, showed their quality of play as a team.

They've been doing it for weeks now, especially getting back from League's Cup.

But they have that team play that looks so good where they're just so fluid and their center backs can get involved because all three center backs used to play center mid and they can all touch and play.

And then all of a sudden you see Campillo up top, kind of like Calafiori.

He is like a Calafiori kind of vibe.

um but they're creating chaos that america can't can't really stop and in that first half chivas can do anything they want to they're getting shots from far they're getting up close they're getting touches in the box a wing back is making it all the way into their box and it's just looking like it's a matter of seconds a matter of moments until chivas scores because i think govea has like a long shot Pio Alvarado has a long shot.
