Podcast 16 | How God’s Love Drives Out Fear | God’s Secrets to Finding Peace on Earth We can so easily accept fear, worry and doubt as normal parts of life. But God never intended for them to control…

But in these chapters ahead, you will see that fear is the big daddy, worry is the mama, and doubt is the little brat.

And all in all, these three are a family that God warns us not to keep company with at all.

Instead, we are encouraged to walk out to faith, love, and hope, and to stay away from the dead-end alleys of the fear mob.

A miracle or failure, life or death, victory in Christ versus defeat, means absolutely everything.

Leaving fear county, in 1 John it says such, Such love has no fear because perfect love casts out all fear.

The problem is that a lot of us hold on to fear as our go-to in some areas of our lives because there is a certain comfort in thinking that the worst will happen.

We guess it can only get better than that and we might get a plentiful surprise if we just believe the worst.

The problem is that fear outside of its proper natural context and the healthy fear of danger or its truthful context of the respectful fear of the Lord is always the opposite of God's will for you and of God's nature towards you.

When you are blown around by its winds with your ears and eyes open to its every eerie projection and false simulation it will always put you in a condition that is the opposite of where the Holy Spirit would want you to be.

The problem with having the habit of fear is the extent that it will always want to consume more of you by further bending your potential future prospects to the negative and worst-case scenarios, and though you detest it and want to resist it, you can feel hapless to do so.

The Ever Operating Background of your imagination can become your unwanted puppet master of doom rather than a place of freedom, liberty and positive dreams that it was meant to be.

And so it goes, until there is a break in your mental circuitry from these self-fulfilling morbid prophecies that have come up or set up shop in your mind.

And the greatest circuit breaker of all is the mighty and amazing and wonderful Holy Spirit.

It is impossible, once you become acquainted with the Holy Spirit in your heart and mind, to not start mentally leaving these territories of fear behind you, one by one, no matter their names or how long they've been with you.
