EP 195 - SHOULD JORDAN SPIETH MAKE A PUTTER CHANGE?

And yeah, I guess we can jump right into the PGA Championship recap, a T-18 for Jordan Spieth.

Um, probably a result considering the pessimism that we would've signed for at the beginning of the week, and we obviously got a new venue that I think Bob wants to share his thoughts on.

I'm sure we'll all share our thoughts on Aronimink as well.

But, uh, yeah.

So interesting PGA Championship.

I liked Aronimink, Dan.

I thought it was cool.

Um, different in terms of the tucked-ness of the pins is something we don't usually get in terms of the extremes they went to there.

And then, yeah, our guy, um, predictable.

I think when we're pessimistic, sometimes he do- shows some of his best stuff, and the T-18 wasn't necessarily his best stuff, but, um, I guess when it comes to the driver, it certainly was his best stuff.

It's a good opening there.

I'm glad that we're, we're getting this done, um, hashing it out.

It was a fun week.

Uh, we'll probably get into that a little bit more once Bob gets here and we start kinda sharing more general thoughts.

But, um, I think one of the cooler majors we've had in a while.

Played really tough.

I know people thought it was gonna be, and myself included, thought it was gonna be 15 under.

Um, but the wind blew.

Course was the right level of firm.

You had the right level of complaining, I think, from the pros.

Um, the course wasn't lost by any means.

Obviously quite playable and, um, you know, somebody got hot down the stretch and won a, won a major, and I think that's a, a reasonable way to do it.

There's always a lot of talk about the PGA and its identity.

Um, and I, I sort of wonder if their identity is just maximizing the golf course that they play it on.
