Reaction to the Reaction of Tracee Ellis Ross About Racism

I hate social media sometimes.

I just do because people, it invites anybody and everybody to come on and say whatever the fuck they want.

And with that, because it's freedom of speech, so they can say what they want.

But sometimes when you have it as a post, where there could be a real discussion, it devolves into people just making comments for a myriad of reasons.

They may come on and say things because they want attention.

Some people, the faux outrage, they say things just because they don't really care, but they just want to be part of it.

They don't want to be left out.

Some people think they're being funny.

And then there are a few who actually do want to have a real conversation.

Others, they go to name-calling.

And this post just bugs me because there's a real discussion to be had about this.

And it's not going to be had on this social media platform.

Tracee Ellis Ross was on Trevor Noah's podcast, and he's mentioned by, you know, girlfriends, was on a lot of late night talk shows, especially like Jay Leno.

And she's just talking, and she just kind of goes, well, is it racism? You know, blah, blah, blah, because they're a black show, who knows? And, you know, the comments are so disappointing.

I'm going to read some of the comments first, and then I'm going to go into what I think.

Racism, aye, aye, aye.

No one was interested in that show.

That was 20 years ago.

Get the fuck over it.

When you have nothing else to talk about, allege racism.

Some of these people, they look like they could be bots.

There's no pictures of them or anything.

It was all about just race.

You wouldn't have a show at all.

Just stop.
