Downtown and Choi Story 2: 2026 Carolina Clash Recap

So just diving into the clash now, we got, we all got there Thursday.

We were, or some of us, a day earlier than that.

But we got there Thursday.

Everything, and this is what I- we always talk about why we love this tournament.

Everything's very new.

Everything's very fresh.

And, uh, a lot of people were in the, uh, mode of learning.

Like, a lot of different golf balls.

What did you notice?

Man, I mean, I tried to make a list and I came up with 12 different unique balls.

And I mean unique as in, like, Grabbers and GR2 are the same, Flush and Streaks are the same, et cetera.

But I think I saw mostly Athenas as probably the most popular ball played.

Uh, but then I saw Grabbers, Streaks, uh, the new Astras, the old Buckles, the new Stouts and the new Cosmos, Drizzles, LVLs, Darts, Plasters, Rover.

I mean, it was, it was great.

You saw Rover?

Oh, yeah.

I definitely saw Rover too.

Okay.

I mean-

I did.

There's Randy Critchlow, I know for sure.

I think there's a case for Rover.

Uh-
