my long story short is that i am almost done covering this dirk trial we are nearing the end closing arguments will be tomorrow tuesday that's why we're doing this today monday um and then the jury will deliberate and i'd imagine they'd have a i mean you never know but um i believe we'll be done with this case on wednesday that is you know what my prediction is but i've been wrong before so I'm looking forward to the closing of this case and me not having to get up very, very early, drive all the way downtown and be at the courthouse without my phone for hours on end and interacting with all of the people.
You know what I was thinking yesterday? What? While I enjoy...
Please hear me, okay? Obviously, I understand the magnitude of what we are talking about.
Somebody's life has been lost and other people are facing the rest of their lives in prison.
Please understand that.
Anytime I'm talking, I know that.
That said, while I...
Enjoy learning about the process of trials and like attending in real life, because I think it's very different than like watching a trial on the Internet.
I actually feel like what what I enjoy most about like the content I make is reading the documents and then interpreting that.
I actually don't think I enjoy watching it live and then having to interpret that or like recap that.
I don't actually enjoy that.
My preference based on this experience, I'm like, oh, I would prefer to sit there and just like take it in and not report on it.
But if I'm going to like make content, I would prefer it be on a document base because then I can like truly explain and like take you on a journey.
And I enjoy the actual legal arguments.
Here's the law.
Here's how one person's going to turn it.
Here's how the other person is going to turn it.
Let's see where it lands.
That's actually what I enjoy.
But having to sit there all day and then trying to synthesize that and explain that and make it feel the way it felt in the courtroom is really challenging to do.
And a lot of people who are good at it or that people watch, in my opinion, And I'm just like the opposite of someone who's sensational.
I don't I don't do that.
I'm not good at being like, and then I'm not like, and then this happened.
That's low key kind of crazy.
But then that happened.
