I used to see her.

But Lacey, uh, Chabert, I guess you can say, Chabert, I knew her from Party of Five, and then of course she's from Mean Girls, Gretchen.

For more than 35 years, he has been at the forefront of a changing culture, helping shape not only what audiences watched, but many of the shows that became part of our lives.

At Fox, he helped develop Beverly Hills 90210, The X-Files, and Party of Five.

He went on to executive produce HBO's Six Feet Under, transformed Showtime with series like Dexter, Weeds, and Shameless, and later led NBC Entertainment, where his tenure included The Voice, This Is Us, The Blacklist, Chicago Fire, and the return of live musicals to network television.

He later led WarnerMedia Entertainment, helped launch HBO Max, and along the way became a, oh yeah, a five-time Tony Award-winning [laughs] Broadway producer.

New York Times was writing about it, and it was about this 18 to 49 demo, which was a new demo.

In the late '80s, it was a hit with young people, which was kinda the first show of its kind.

There was, there were no teen soap operas back then, and I give Aaron Spelling credit for kind of inventing this whole genre, which then we ran away with, and we did Melrose and Party of Five, and we developed Oz the Great and-

Well, 'cause when you get into sitcom TV, it was, it was the same thing.

It's like, oh, you know, Tuesday night is Dawson's Creek, and then, you know, it was, like, Party of Five or whatever it was.

Now with streaming, it is going back to that though.

I was just, uh, thinking about, like, I'm really excited for Vision Quest that's coming out.

but have never actually visited Hong Kong.

And it was so frustrating during the Party of Five challenge when I knew we were flying to Hong Kong, and I thought, "I'm finally gonna get to see Hong Kong." And nope, we went to Macau.
