Week ending 8/7/26 Drew/Anna/Josslyn/Jax?

I'm going to start with, cause we had this talking, we had a Zoom yesterday.

I have to get this out the way.

The most The winner in my book for most unnecessary waste of our time, waste of my time, waste of your time seems in a long time on general operation.

I mean, this seriously was unnecessary.

The trial of Curtis.

I want to start with that.

That whole thing was unnecessary.

If Curtis is not found guilty, the way they were trying to spin it, it was like, but no, he hit somebody and he ruined his hand.

He thinks he was...

It doesn't even matter what he thinks.

The whole series of all of this, the courtroom scenes, everything, was such a waste of time.

Frank, what do you think?

It's...

I feel like this is probably a great example of real life versus soap opera.

In real life, it would be pretty cut and dry.

The man assaulted somebody and he's going to be spending some time in prison.

but here you can see just a fantastic hand of soap operas where we can do whataboutism we can both sides it to the point where it's like you could not have the characters and they're believing like well you know I think I got a chance I think it's gonna happen like are you kidding me are you kidding me there is in a world where he's Isaiah you know the police have already kind of ruled him out as a suspect there is no evidence going for that I mean, everybody knows that Isaiah said a comment, but a comment is one thing.

It wasn't, I mean, Curtis is a grown-ass man who, in front of everybody, swung hard at that man.

And they tried, they tried to throw Detective Fitzpatrick under the bus.

Yeah.

He's like, but he's telling, he's assaulted.

He's yelling at him.

Like, it's cut and dry.

The accident, as they said, was caused by them.

It was not caused by, nobody driving up and down 91.
