So much information, so many interesting thoughts that I think he and his team really put together that are proprietary, that make you think and take away, uh, some ideas for how to think about markets and maybe sectors going forward.

Yeah, I think Dan did a great job of simplifying the complicated, right? We can read all of the headlines about the midterms and what we might see, but Dan really kind of brought it to life in terms of the implications of what we might see and, and what does that mean for our portfolios.

You know, I think one takeaway from me from that conversation was that we should expect very much uncertainty or volatility in the coming weeks in the markets.

And so when I think about advisors, our, our listeners, uh, and their clients, you know, staying invested through that election volatility, to me becomes an even more important piece.

I think trying to time the markets with this much noise is going to be a very tough task, even for the most sophisticated of investors.

So, you know, that was a really good reminder, I think, that Dan, you know, laid out in a very effective way with his perspective.

And you know, we've talked about this in prior podcasts, but rebalancing and the importance of, you know, revisiting the weights in your portfolios and ensuring that you're not drifting those significantly in certain portions of your portfolio, whether it's US equity, whether it's specifically hyperscalers and stocks that are more tilted in that direction.

Taking an objective view to your portfolio and ensuring that you are actively rebalancing back to your target weights is more important now than, you know, I would say even earlier this year.

So I think this, uh, behavioral portion of what we're about to, you know, continue to experience in the next six weeks is really important for investors to continue to keep in mind.

So Dustin, as I was hearing Dan kind of speak to the Democrat versus Republican, you know, what we might see play out, I was very curious about the sort of sector exposure that he was speaking to, and I'm glad you asked that question.

I'm curious to get your thoughts, though, on that, what your perspective is on portions of market that are gonna be winning versus not, and maybe what's accounted for and what's not as well in the market.

I think, you know, Dan's right when he says, and you know, and obviously this is a very macro-focused podcast, but in some ways the midterm election is not necessarily a macro event.

In some ways it's a bit more of a, a sectoral event, particularly on the equities and maybe by extension the credit side, which is really one of the reasons why I wanted to have Dan on at this point, you know, in the cycle to kind of get into the details around that.

His view around, you know, healthcare and industrials I think is really, really interesting.

And Dan spends a lot of time-- For those that aren't as familiar with Dan's work, he and his team spend a lot of time on building what I would call kind of baskets of portfolios, sectorally themed baskets of portfolios.

And so he and his team have had a lot of success kind of building those baskets.
