An INFP asked me how to be authentic and honest and have the courage to deal with not being accepted by others for who we are.

First off, a difficult question is, how much time and energy are you putting towards editing and changing yourself in order to just fit in and be accepted by people who maybe you shouldn't actually be worried about being accepted by? I know that's a difficult question, and it's one that I've tussled with.

[laughs] Is that the word, right word? One that I've fought with for a long time, and I still think it's an important one, and one that I come back to every once in a while.

Um, I've come to the decision that if somebody doesn't accept me, then that's fine.

Family, you know, environment, sometimes it makes that something that we can't avoid too much.

And also, people rejecting you says something more about their limits and their perspective and their growth as a person, um, and it says more to that than it does about you, because you are fine.

So in this video, I'll tell you one way that INFPs can stand more by their values, by their boundaries, and bring in the people that should be in their lives and cast away those who should not be there.
