So, camera pans.
It's early evening, and we're somewhere on the cold side of Tallaght.
The wind is fiercely blowing along the river, and there is a chill in the early evening air.
We slide up to a standalone building, somewhat decrepit.
I mean, there's obvious signs that people have tried to maintain it, but it's an older structure.
And there is a sign swinging in the breeze.
And it says, Sorrows Respite, an old tavern.
A tavern that usually sees the seedier side of Tallaght.
The door is open.
There's smoke in the air and a haze.
There's laughter.
You see groups of people playing cards, throwing dice, drinking beer at the bar.
A drunk is asleep at the floor.
As we go in deeper, we see Erica sitting in a corner by herself, her back to the door, facing the back wall of the tavern.
She seems to be muttering to herself.
Erica, across from you is seated a shadowy figure.
Does not appear to be cloaked, but you can't quite make out their face.
Their voice is androgynous.
Perhaps a male, perhaps a female.
It's hard to tell.
One of their arms is on the table, and their hand is sitting flat against it.
The other seems misshapen in the shadows and drapes long beneath the table.
But they are speaking to you, speaking to you in a tongue that's not quite Reichsspiel, but you understand it anyway.
My dear friend, we've been watching you.
And we're so proud that you have stood for your people against the wealth and the entitlement of the nobles who would keep you down.
