A Special Visit

My name is Elena and I am a student missionary in the Phnom Project in Cambodia.

And I've been here for for the 2025-2026 student mission year.

And I have been here for almost 10 months now.

I am serving as an English teacher.

I teach grades four and two, and I also teach in the evening, intermediate and advanced English.

This year, some donors gave us a large sum of money for Bibles in Cambodia.

And so I was the recipient of some of those Bibles to distribute.

And as a teacher, I really wanted to give these Bibles to my students, but I wasn't sure which ones to give them to.

Initially, I was just looking for signs of openness in their hearts.

And there was one child in particular.

He was a fourth grade student, and I noticed that whenever I needed a volunteer to pray, he was always eager to volunteer and would pray as often as he could.

So after a few weeks of teaching him, I asked where he lived.
