Welcome back to **Friday Night Fright Night!** For Season 3, Episode 4, GC and Lee enter the mysterious and deadly world of **CUBE (1997)**. Directed by Vincenzo Natali, *Cube* follows six strangers…
But let's, let's get started.
Let's, Lee, take it away with the directors and writers and cast and all the good stuff.
Yeah.
So Cube, uh, directed in 1997 by Vincenzo Natali, which has like an Italian name, and GC-
Yeah
... and I ha- both have Italian names, so he's one of our guys, I suppose.
But, uh, what, what I found interesting was that this is a Canadian movie, for those who didn't know.
Um, he's also known for a few movies.
Some of you might know him from In the Tall Grass, which was a Netflix movie that was a adaptation of a Stephen King and Joe Hill story, Joe Hill being his son.
That came out back in, uh, 2019.
So his biggest releases is that, and I would say, um, Splice, which is, um, a movie that I personally saw in theaters back when it came out in 2009 with Adrien Brody.
I don't know if you guys remember that one.
But I have not seen that one, so I can't speak for it.
But yeah, those are his first, his four main movies as director.
And, um, so our cast is very small, so it should be, uh, this should be quick and breezy.
He's Quentin, the villain.
She's Holloway.
Uh, then you have the introduction, the guy that we're gonna talk about now, the, the first guy you see in this movie, he's only in it for a few minutes, which is Julian Richings, and he plays Alderson.
