!FTN small squareThree Dexes, might be all we are seeing for a little while. Is this what this edition wants…
So I'm not going to say, like, number one, but the first one we'll talk about is the tactical focus.
This one stood out to me because anytime that you can get that extra movement, you can do all sorts of really funny things like get onto objectives all sneaky or even block your opponent out from getting onto them.
Well, you only get, I mean, you hear us say this a hundred times is like, you only get so many opportunities to move your units around and it's like a fixed, you know, potentially fixed amount of things.
And so anything that does help you amplify that, you know, for the low, low cost of something, you're going to get back every turn, you know, like I, it feels like it's a, it's a good thing.
This is a shoot and scoot, essentially, as we were called, or move, shoot, move for Gravis exactly.
So after you've shot with the Gravis unit, if you're unengaged, you can move five inches, but must end that move within range of an objective.
This is really good for... you know, coming on from the board edge, shooting and moving again, or getting out of a transport, you know, maybe only moving three inches to activate heavy and then shooting and getting out of dodge.
And I think this is something you must end that move on within range and objective, but that's pretty, it's like half the board now is objective.
And what units is this for? Because I mean, this is like even, even more important for them.
it seems to be like one of the big liabilities of the gravis is of course their movement you know things like aggressors are always like well if they just had a little bit extra push you know like it's you know just do it
yeah and of course always the danger with a lot of gravis marines um a little bit better now that you've got the heavy bolter eradicators which can stay much longer range than the melter rads who've got to get right up on your opponent's doorstep in order to do their max damage but being able to get within that nine inches of your opponent with for the for the hunter range kill him and then bounce back and possibly get out of charge range of a danger unit or even bounce back into a reactive move potentially from another detachment and really get out of there.
uh with that and you know again another one that is kind of movement based and you know let's keep that train going uh is the responsive tactics this is a reactive d6 normal move like this is again just there's there is a trend here like Movement wins games, and when you have these kind of superhuman tanks that you can get in, basically do some feinting and different positioning with your opponent that kills to control the momentum of the game, even though you may have a smaller footprint on the table, I think that's
