People wanted me dead !!

Okay, so Ben Affleck just came out and compared himself to Britney Spears.

He's saying that people gleefully wanted to watch his downfall just as badly as they applauded when Britney Spears fell apart in public.

Back in the 2000s, Ben Affleck was a joke, and he knew it.

Since then, he survived so many flops, he survived alcoholism, he survived divorces, he survived so many scandals.

I think he almost became a symbol of misery at one point, and that's also when these memes smoking Ben really took off online.

Now he's promoting his Netflix movie Animals and I've been watching a lot of Ben Affleck interviews the last couple of days and I have to say there is something so refreshing about this man.

I started watching Animals on Netflix yesterday and I caught myself thinking how miserable Ben Affleck looks in movies as well.

And I think what's really appealing about him is that Ben knows that he really effed up.

His public humiliation became entertainment.

And for some weird reason, I think that is why people started connecting with him.
