She's not bitter, okay? This, this person that I'm describing is not bitter in a loud or obvious way.

She's not the woman at the dinner table telling everybody why it never works out, why people can't be trusted, how there are no good men anywhere on this earth, why she's done with everybody.

But if you get close, if you get close enough, and most people do not, they can't, she won't let it, okay? But if you get close enough, you'd notice that she has quietly retired from all of it.

She's decided that none of that matters because it's not going to change the outcome anyway.

She's genuinely tried to make things work, and it just didn't, and she's tried it more than once.

I'm just gonna accept it and move on." She's told herself that she doesn't need much, and I wanna be specific when I say that because this is not the low-maintenance performance we talked about in episode 73.

If you missed that episode, go back and listen to 73, where we talk about the low-maintenance lie.
